If you like your burgers with a bit of fire, this one’s for you. Our spicy Firecracker Chicken Burger is the perfect blend of spicy, savory, and smoky goodness that will leave you craving more.
Homemade chicken patties are grilled until golden, then added to a toasted Turkish-style bun and topped with crispy bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a dollop of ranch sauce to cool things down.
What You Need
250gr chicken mince
1/2 onion, finely diced
1/2 cup rough chopped parsley
1 Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp Smokey Joe's Ranch Pop Dust
4 rashers streaky bacon
Lettuce
1 tomato
Sliced cheese, optional
1/2 cup sour cream
Turkish-style buns
What to do
Combine the chicken mince, onion, parsley, and Firecracker seasoning in a bowl.
Stir thoroughly and shape into 4 equal burger patties.
Heat oil over medium heat in a large pan or on the BBQ. Cook the patties until they achieve a lovely golden color.
Turn the burgers over and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (167°F).
Move the chicken to a large cutting board and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
In the same pan, cook the bacon until it becomes crispy.
Mix the sour cream with Smokey Joe's Ranch Pop Dust in a bowl, stirring well to combine.
Toast or grill the inside of the buns.
To assemble your burger
Place the lettuce, tomato, chicken burger patties, bacon, cheese, and a generous dollop of ranch dressing on the bun.
