Craving the bold flavour of Buffalo wings without the meat? These Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are crispy, spicy, and packed with the nice kick of Smokey Joe’s Buffalo Sauce. Oven-baked to perfection, they make the ultimate snack for game day... no deep frying needed!

Pair with a creamy ranch dip and dig in

what you need:

  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1 tablespoon Bee Sting Seasoning

  • ¾ cup milk (or plant-based alternative if you must)

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)

  • ½ cup Smokey Joe’s Buffalo Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for extra richness)

  • Olive oil spray

  • Ranch dressing (optional) - you can create this with Smokey Joe's Ranch Pop Dust mixed with a little yoghurt & mayo

what to do:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C or Air fryer.

  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

  3. Prepare the batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, Bee Sting and the milk until smooth.

  4. Coat the cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it's evenly coated. Let excess batter drip off, then roll in panko breadcrumbs for added crunch.

  5. Bake: Arrange the coated florets on the lined tray and lightly spray with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  6. Toss in Smokey Joe’s Buffalo Sauce: In a large bowl, mix warm Smokey Joe’s Buffalo Sauce with melted butter (if using). Add the baked cauliflower bites and toss to coat evenly.

  7. Serve immediately with ranch dressing and a side of celery and carrot sticks.

🔥 Joe's Tip: Love it extra spicy? Drizzle a little extra Smokey Joe’s Buffalo Sauce just before serving!
