Pulled Korean BBQ Beef Burgers

If you love rich, tender pulled beef with a bit of a twist, these Korean BBQ Pulled Beef Burgers are going straight to the top of your favourites list. Cooked low and slow in the slow cooker, the beef soaks up all the bold, savoury-sweet flavours of Smokey Joe’s Korean BBQ Seasoning and our OG BBQ Sauce – a match made in burger heaven. The result is Melt in your mouth smokey beef with a hint spice, perfect for piling high on a soft bun with crunchy slaw.


what you need

  • 1.5kg Beef Chuck

  • 1/2 cup beef stock

  • Smokey Joes Korean BBQ Seasoning

  • 1 bottle Smokey Joes OG BBQ Sauce

  • Coleslaw 

  • Pickles 

  • Brioche Buns


what to do

  1. Begin by preparing your beef for cooking by patting it dry with a paper towel. Then, generously coat it with Smokey Joes OG BBQ Sauce.

  2. Next, coat the beef entirely with Smokey Joes Korean BBQ Seasoning, ensuring that everywhere is covered.

  3. Place the beef in your slow cooker with 1/2 cup of beef stock and set it to high, letting it cook for around six hours, beef is done when it can be pulled apart easily with two forks

  4. After the beef is done, prepare the sauce by combining the remaining OG BBQ Sauce, and a half cup of liquid from the slow cooker in a saucepan. Cook the sauce until the it's heated through.

  5. Remove the beef from the slow cooker and pull it apart into a bowl. Pour the sauce over the beef and mix everything together.

  6. Serve the beef on burger buns with your favourite slaw & pickles and enjoy!
