12 small-med size portobello mushrooms or large button mushrooms
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tablespoons Smokey Joe’s Outback rub
salt to taste

Combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
When ready to cook, start the grill on smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes).
if using a pellet smoker, set the temperature to smoke and preheat, lid closed (10 to 15 minutes).
Place mushrooms directly on the grill and smoke for 30 minutes, then turn the heat up to 450 F and finish cooking, about 15 more minutes, serve warm.
